Source: latest revenue as reported in exchange filings, read live from 16 African exchanges (Johannesburg, Nigeria, Egypt, Casablanca, Nairobi, Tunis, BRVM, Ghana, Mauritius, Dar es Salaam, Uganda, Botswana, Lusaka, Namibia and Malawi), converted to US dollars at today's spot rate. Companies with no published revenue are left out, never estimated. Issuers domiciled outside Africa and secondary cross-listings are removed. The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange is excluded because its reporting currency cannot be resolved reliably after redenomination.
